Observation Task 7: Classroom management and teacher talk

Beginning and ending the day

Punctuality at the beginning of the lesson
Teacher arrives before the pupils. So, she can prepare for the lessons. And the learners arrive all on time. 

Teacher’s response to those who are late. What does she say?

She reacts with a positive reinforcement and say to them where are you?, why you are late?, ooh today you are sleep more than me then kiss him\her and hug him\her.

Starting the day: what does the teacher say? Do?




She sits in the carpet and asks their about the day, the month and the year after that she starts the lesson.



Lining up : location
Inside the class so they can go outside orgnizely.

Teacher instructions for lining up: what does she say? Do?

She said to the children one line for the boys and another one for the girls.




Ending the day: what does the teacher say? /do?

She say clean up who’s sit be quite in the carpet will go the home first and who’s noity for 5 minutes.




                        Moving
Moving the children for an activity.
What does she say? do?
She is clap her hand two times then she said the red or green or yellow group com please to my group and another one with AMT and another group in the creative group.


Moving the children: how do they respond?
They respond to the teacher and do what she said to them.


                Misbehavior
What was the learner doing?
He was speaking or moving during the lesson  time.


What did the teacher say? Do?
She said to him that this behavior is bad and she moved him to the punishment’s chair.  


How did the child respond:
He did what the teacher said.


How does the teacher stop the children at the end of an activity? What does she say? Do?
Clean up clean up and means that the children have to clean and stop or say freeze and everyone stop to do the activity.
